Robotic military non useage and causes of use

Since the invention of the Machine Gun there has nearly always been a man/woman behind the actual gun supervising its fireing.
But as Robotics developed, it has been thought why should a man be at risk in the same line of fire as the machine gun which at least draws attention to the Soldier operateing it?
One of the first ideas was a mirror or periscope and the most recent are small model sized airoplanes with guns on them.
But through out this development has been the wish to show a Human side to the forces useing the Machine Gun.
The Human show of potential mutual respect seems mostly to have developed in reaction to the relatively mercyless philosophy of the Racist Hitler lead Technocratic Nationalism.
But has become weakened by the use of Terorism against non armed Civilians of VIP status.
Unless Terorism is lessend either by peacefull Inteligance for negoiation or offensive Inteligance for imprisonment/disableing injury at some point the full useage of Robotic Military will be used.
And as often men are killed in friendly fire by their own side it would be terrable for this to happen.
So there should be a higher profile for Peacefull Inteligance like there is with raising children with some form of rules and respected authority in the TV programs Supernanny and Dog Whisperer.
Better still are rules set by ever present supervising inteligance even greater at careing than man.
I would raise children respecting the authority of God but with the wealth of tolerance for mind qwerks of Christ who has crossed death itself into a world where our personel characters Soul is kept nurtured to bring us again to be alive once more after our deaths.
But such an authority has to have default control of fate and the less promising disobediant.
Which would eventually cause some to seek the more mercyfull kind of the same.
